Ifest: attractive and challenging!
Networking is necessary, even – or perhaps especially - in economically difficult times. Companies are clearly showing a renewed interest in Ifest, the largest environmental and energy trade fair in the Benelux. The many interfaces between the environment, energy, mobility, as well as the economy are generating new challenges. Innovation is once again a central concern in all of these sectors. That´s why there´s a need for a large-scale event where companies can unveil their creative solutions for contemporary problems. Ifest 2010 is responsive to these new insights and brings together the major players. This is a highly dynamic trade fair, as the figures demonstrate. The demand for energy solutions is constantly growing
In recent years it has become clear that energy consumption in Flanders is far too high. Energy losses can be dramatically reduced on both the individual and the company levels. The great advantage for purchasers is that investments in energy savings can achieve a fast return on investment. And investing in renewable energy is also worthwhile! Smart energy production from renewable sources ensures independence from rapidly-rising energy prices. Artexis nv, the organiser of Ifest, is setting a good example by installing 53.000 m² of solar panels atop the trade fair buildings of Flanders Expo in Ghent. Supply and demand come together at Ifest 2010. As a supplier of sustainable technologies, you can´t afford to miss this large-scale event that deals intelligently with new trends. Ifest receives extensive educational programme
The initial preparations for the seminar programme are being made. Ifest 2010 wishes to link the trade fair to a fascinating, cutting-edge seminar programme having clean tech as its leitmotif. All facets of sustainable enterprise will be addressed over a period of three days. Ifest 2010 is thus seeking to put together a strong substantive programme to support the fair floor. Together with the representative professional associations and the companies which will be present, we are reflecting on how to put together a high-quality parallel programme. For three days the visitor will be immersed in an ecological knowledge bath. The educational programme is supplemented by a wealth of networking moments, making Ifest the most complete trade fair in the Benelux.
Ifest stands selling briskly
The initial phase in preparing for the Ifest fair began this spring. During the first six months of the year, the first exhibitors have already snapped up more than 50% of the available space. Right now, 58 exhibitors are set to occupy more than 2,200 m² of the fair´s surface area (you can take a look at the fair plan (pdf, 346 KB) here). The Ifest promotional materials were given a makeover, and potential exhibitors have already responded positively to them. What to expect of the fair ?
The central theme will once again be Socially Responsible Entrepreneurship. The interweaving of environment and energy with the social themes will again be the leitmotif running through the largest environmental fair in the Benelux. After the summer, in consultation with the exhibitors, an innovative and substantively strong seminar programme will be established. As the final link in the network, all representative professional associations and stakeholders will be contacted with the intention of involving a broad midfield in the preparation of an exceptional event for the environmental and energy sector in 2010.
