  starter's village

Ifest 2002 - Startersdorp In collaboration with the GOM environment cells Ifest is once again mounting a starter's village. This initiative was developed to put the spotlight on companies which started up after 1 January 2001 and are not affiliated to or subsidiaries of existing firms.

Registering for the starter's village creates countless advantages for you as a fresh young business. On the one hand your company gets extra recognition via a separate mention in the catalogue, the press map and on the website. On the other hand you enjoy special tariffs as a starter. And that's not all: the GOM's ensure a cosy sitting area with a bar. You can also count on expert guidance during your participation in the fair.

True to tradition, new companies in the environmental sector can rent a stand in the Starter's village at a lower rate.
The conditions are valid for each company established after January 1 1999, which is not a subsidiary, affiliate or sister company of an existing company.
Also the shareholders cannot be linked to an existing company active in the environmental, energy or safety sector.
Ifest offers starters a special rate. They pay:

  • 1.380 € for a 12 sqm stand
  • 2.070 € for a 18 sqm stand
GOM

This price includes surface rent and a ready-made stand (walls, carpet, frieze with company name, and electricity). Furniture can be ordered at special rates. The eye-catching hall location, special press attention and mention at the Ifest website and in the fair catalogue completes the offer.

The Starter's village is an organisation of Flanders Expo in co-operation with the environmental cells of the GOM's (Gewestelijke Ontwikkelingsmaatschappij).
